REPORT:
We arrived early to change. Very quickly crowds of cinemagoers were coming in, all excited for the movie. In costume, we have multiple photos taken of us and high fives. Some of the older fans even wanted hugs with the troopers.
The atmosphere was tremendous, so happy as the proceeds of the night would go to charity.
After the last people had gone into the second screening we quickly got out of our costumes and enjoyed a screening in amongst the lively crowd.
Afterwards the cinema manager and the event organiser came to say how pleased they were with our work. We helped raise over $6000 for the charity on the night.
CHARITY: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – we help raise over $6000 on the night!
